Intellectual Property
The Department of Drug Science and Technology actively collaborates with a variety of institutions and companies in both its core and applied research. It has entered into agreements with a number of organisations, regional social care institutions as well as research centres and foundations. This allows the Department to be constantly updated as to advancements across the entire drug development cycle and to address requests for process intensification and the development of innovative protocols.
Attention must be paid to intellectual property and the proper filing of patents when operating in this context. Our work in this area has led to the filing of a significant number of national and international patents.
